A focused learning journey for every pupil.

Each class follows the school’s Qur’an-centred programme, with clear learning goals suited to the pupil’s stage of development.

Youngest class • Admission age: 3 years • Foundation / First Entry

Zubair Class

The starting point of a child’s educational journey at Madarasatu Safiyyah. Young learners begin from scratch in a warm, child-friendly environment with strong Qur’anic, Arabic and Islamic foundations.

Class Teacher

A female class teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience and particular expertise in handling and teaching young children.

Academic Goals

  • Identify and recognise the Arabic Huruf.
  • Memorise one Hizb, from Al-A‘la to An-Nas.
  • Memorise essential daily Azkar for sleeping, waking, entering and leaving the home and toilet, dressing, travelling, eating, drinking and other daily situations.
  • Develop basic Arabic vocabulary for common objects at school and at home.
  • Learn basic Arabic greetings and begin speaking simple Arabic expressions.
  • Develop basic writing and handwriting skills through Khaddu.

Second Stage

Abu-Turab Class

This class builds directly upon the Zubair foundation. Pupils continue Qur’anic memorisation and daily Islamic practice while developing stronger Arabic vocabulary, word-building and reading foundations.

Class Teacher

An experienced teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience.

Academic Goals

  • Memorise two Hizb of the Qur’an, from At-Tariq to Al-Jinn.
  • Expand knowledge and regular practice of daily Azkar.
  • Learn the essential Azkar and actions connected with Salah, from Takbeer to Salam.
  • Learn supplications and appropriate responses relating to rain, strong wind, heavy rain, thunder, after rainfall and other relevant situations.
  • Develop Arabic word-building skills from two-letter words to three-letter words.
  • Begin reading words with Harakaat and basic Madd.
